Those Gullible Kos Kids

A diarist on Daily Kos claimed to have the secret war plans for an attack on Iran, and the diary became hugely recommended despite how fantastical and easily disproven its claims were. Kos himself ended up berating everyone for being gullible fools. The denizens at Daily Kos do seem to lack critical thinking skills, especially if you look at some of the other recently recommended diaries on the site.

  1. “Shrubby McHalliburton Trying to Keep You from Learning Secret Formula to a Bigger Penis; Buy It Before His Stormtroopers Take It Away!”
THIS IS A SLANDERIUOS RIGHT WING MIS-INFORMATION PROPAGANA LIE. NO PROGESSIVE WANTS A PENIS. WE ALL WANT A VAGINIA OR WANT THE WE GOT TO STOP HURTING!….bastards.

  2. On August 1, 2007, I revealed in an article at The Truth About Kos that “Markos C.A. Moulitsas published a virulently anti-gay essay when he was a college freshman, adamantly opposing ALL gays in the military because gays made him “inherently uncomfortable.”
Within two weeks, the knowledge of Moulitsas’ virulent college homophobia became part of what is known in the blogosphere about MAMZ, modifying forever the blogosphere’s image of MAMZ, because the article showed MAMZ to be a reactionary Republican as well as a very sexually immature and insecure and really quite laughable man, like Republican Senator Larry Craig.
However, by August 31, I reported at Truth About Kos and others reported in two other blogs that the homophobic article had gone missing from the archives of the student newspaper where MAMZ published it, along with every single article mentioning the name “Moulitsas.” In fact, at least thirteen years of archives that we online at MAMZ’s alma mater on August 1 were no longer online on August 31. And now the article seems to be missing from the Google cache as well.

  3. Proof of Marcos Moulitsas’ Involvement with the CIA After Forming Daily Kos
Daily Kos founder Markos Moulitsas says in fact he was speaking to the CIA up until 2003 about employment and long after he started Daily Kos in May of 2002.
He states that in 2001 “I was underemployed, between jobs so I applied to the CIA” and later in reference to ANOTHER POINT IN TIME …he made a decision to work for Howard Dean instead of working for the CIA. That decision could only have taken place in 2003. That is when he went to work for Howard Dean.
In January 2003 he formed a political consulting partnership with Jerome Armstrong. Sometime later in 2003 he joined the Dean campaign.
Proof of Marcos Moulitsa’s Involvement with the CIA After Forming Daily Kos
Moulitsas says he talked to the CIA about his website. His website was begun in May of 2002.
By his own account, Marcos Moulitsas at least interviewed with the CIA AFTER he formed Daily Kos, not (only) before.
It may be he began the interview process in 2001 and that it continued (or training continued) to just before June 2003.
He says he went “all the way to the end”. Does this mean he had completed training? If he started a 6 month interview process in 2001 it would have long ended by late June of 2003 when he made his decision to work for the Dean campaign.
Once again these are his words.
