I like Fred Thompson. He was my senator, but if he continues to refuse to go to forums such as O’Reilly’s show or Russert’s show and answer questions, he want look like a chimp but he will look like a chump. I understand O’Reilly can be a little flakey at times but refusing to go on his show makes him look a little like the democrats who are afraid to answer questions from FoxNews. If President Bush could show up and answer his questions so can Fred. And if he doesn’t, I will not support him.
I agree, Ron, but lets hope this is a strategic move on his part. Maybe he wants to wait until closer to the election, and then come in and blow everyone away (literally and figuratively).
I for one would love to see a Thompson/Giuliani ticket; I think that’s the only combo (T/G or G/T) that has a chance of beating Her Thighness.
