You’ve probably heard of the phony controversy of Rush Limbaugh’s “phony soldiers” comment in which he was talking about people falsely pretending to be soldiers to speak against the war, i.e., not real soldiers but phony ones. Some reason, anti-war vets like Jon Soltz (last seen shouting down a man in uniform speaking in favor of his mission) assumed Rush was talking about him, which is somewhat psychologically revealing. It’s like how no one actually questions John Kerry’s patriotism but he kept assuming everyone was.
Anyway, I find it interesting that with there being millions of men and women in both active and reserves, liberals still feel the need to use made up soldiers like Jesse Macbeth to find enough vets to speak out against the Iraq war. I think that’s because most real Americans don’t want to have anything to do with the Kwazy Kos Krowd. Also, with all their blatant disdain for the troops, it seems you’d have to be a bit self-loathing to be both in the military and associated with those freaks.
John Kerry isn’t a phony soldier, just a former soldier who happens to be a narcissistic phony Senator.

got to wonder about the motivation for some of these “anti-war veterans”. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, even democrate D*uchbags. But these “anti-war veterans” are giving aid and comfort to the enemy. I guess they feel their right to express their sniviling opinions is more important then the lives of their brothers and sisters in arms they endanger by giving support to the enemy.
Rush was pretty specific about whom he called phony soldiers, and this, like all the other attempts to end his career, will fail.
Anecdotally, I see more of the REMF type soldiers doing the complaining. One dude who’s popped up in the leftosphere recently, spent his time in Iraq passing out ammo and pulling guard duty in a large camp.
I find it telling to see the ones who have been deepest in the battle are the most patriotic, the most likely to reenlist, the ones most likely to believe in the mission. I see it a lot, both with relatives and men like Marcus Luttrell.
John Kerry and his ilk could not be a pimple on a good soldiers ass.
The Democrat Congress is as phony as a nine dollar bill. For that matter, I’d like to see the gubment shut down for a while – except for our military. Just shut it down, stop printing money and send everyone home.

Quite frankly, at this point, who isn’t in favor of another revolution? Show of hands? Congress has approval ratings lower than the President’s, yet all we hear is ’round the clock Bush-bashing. They are obviously not gonna do anything about the illegal alien situation, except for Barbara Boxer, who is planning on making it cheaper for illegals to attend college then Americans to. Couple that with constant political infighting, the coming wave of “socialism” (HillaryCare, this time with COMPULSORY doctor vists), etc etc.
Im not saying get rid of the Constitution, may God forbid such a thing. Im talking about taking it back to the foundation. Anyone else?

What frustrates me is that with all the serious problems and issues our elected officials should be dealing with they chose this.
It isn’t even an issue. Limbaugh is a private citizen and can say what he wants (even if he has the tape from that day clearly showing that he was talking about people who pretend to be soldiers, not soldiers themselves) Oh and who is calling for an apology, the same idiots who have called our soldiers murders, racist, losers.
I had thought there were some politicians worth saving but I have come to the conclusion that all of them need to go. Throw them all out. The ones who started this stupid controversy, the ones who jumped on the band wagon and the ones who can’t find their spines (with Lassie, Benji, Beethoven, Siberian Huskey’s, rescue dogs and GPS super dippy-doppler weather radar.
Rush has just revealed the former arabic name of the solder whom he correctly labeled “phony”. It just keeps getting better and better. Rush against the entire dhimmicrat clown brigade…like shooting dimmi-phish in a barrel!! It must really gall all those lawyers to get bested by a college dropout.
