i was also surprised that they opposed Dubya’s vetoing of the SCHIP, which I agreed with. Like he said, there’s already hundreds of thousands of kids that qualify for it but aren’t registered. Plus, there was probably a lot of pork attached to the bill, which is why I’m glad he vetoed it. You’d think the Mooslims would be anti-pork bills too.

Read more carefully. The opposition was to the bill that was vetoed, not the veto itself.
