41 Democratic Senators signed a letter smearing Rush Limbaugh and sent it to the CEO of Clear Channel Communications. Rush is now selling the letter on eBay with the proceeds going to a Marine charity. Do you think it will be a Rush fan who places the highest bid or some weirdo who really loves Democratic Senators?
(hat tip to Hot Air)

$14,600, thats a little pricey for something signed by a bunch of intellectually challenged people… If me and a group of 42 average intelligence people signed a piece of paper maybe we could sell it for as much!
I thought it was great that Rush said the pre-bid screening was so they could track back to find out if DNC or Reid’s office tried to get it back.
If I had any money I’d bid on it… but I’ll bet it goes to someone who wants those Dhimmicrat autographs.
It’ll have to be a Rush fan; people who love the Democratic senators:
1) Only like to spend your money, not theirs.
2) Would not, under any circumstances, provide money to assist the families of fallen heroes, such as United States Marines and Law Enforcement.
This story made my day.
bin Laden hangs it in the den
or
Fred Thompson buys it for 50 Gs, eats it, and craps a war powers resolution for regime change in Iran.
In all seriousness, I’m guessing it ends up on the wall of a Dubai sheik.
Remember, Rush was about the ONLY conservative to speak out in support of the Dubai Ports deal (that, once all the evidence was looked at honestly, would have been a good thing for America – but the far-right elites in their “we’re sorry we voted for Dubya” ignorance were too effective in steamrolling right over it).
Some Dubai sheik will end up coughing up hundred of thousands… maybe even more… for it..
This is proof that Rush owns the heart and soul of the conservatives in this country. He beat the living snot out of the libtards again, and they don’t even know it. Rush was the one who made me realize that I was not a liberal way back in 1994, even though I fervently wished I were (it’s the humane thing, after all). I heart Rush almost as much as I heart the Roe v. Wade chick on the right of this screen. Ho-ly cray-yap!
Rush is a great guy; he keeps proving it.
Selling it for charity… Brilliant.
I love it when the duplicity of the democrat party gets displayed due to their own actions. This is their way of attempting to “balance the scales” since MooovOn got condemned for their slander. The big difference between Rush’s statements & MooovOn’s is that Rush was telling it like it was; MooovOn just talks s**t because deep inside, they know they’re wrong.
I only wish that Rush could get a discounted front-page spot in the NYT for the auction.
But as long as I’m wishing for the improbable, I wish Ted Kennediot was half the man JFK was… or at least suffer the same fate as MJ Kopechne did & be done with it.
That’s why Rush tacked on the Marine Charity…to make it significantly less palatable to any libtard…
The best part was that on his show, he challenged all 41 senators who signed this travesty to make a donation to the Marine Corps fund to match the winning bid (each). So now they either have to be seen to play nice with Rush and eat crow, or openly show they don’t support the troops. THAT was the brilliant coup-de-grace
Doh. #11 was me. Dang you IMAO and your poor memory!
I thought it was brilliant, Rush, rushed them again.
(I think ‘rush’ or ‘rushed’ should now be used in place of the term ‘out smarted’
It will definitely be bought by a Rush fan. Most fans of these senators don’t have job, and the ones that do certainly can’t afford it…and never will be able to afford it.
Son of Bob… Soros or Media Matters could buy it.
… but they hate the military and the proceeds are going to help military families so maybe not.
Actually you have to prove who you are to even be able to bid on it, and it’s up to 25,000. BWAHAHAHAHAA. Rush sticks a fork in the eyes of hippies once again.
Hard to believe how quickly the bidding went up. I just hope whoever ends up with the thing isn’t buying it as an investment- 100 years from now, some expert on Antiques Road Show will just look at it an say: “Sure, the signatures are rare, but of little historical value- none of these people made significant contributions while in office.”
McBain, you’re forgetting that villains are also hot items in antiques. Or, maybe we’ll have gotten over that in a century.
It’s at $40,800 now. Confirmed bidders only. Awesome.
In 50 years we’ll all see it on Antiques Roadshow.
Over $50,000 and still climbing!
