Fred Thompson’s method to veto wasteful spending bills will be to shove the bill down the throat of the Democrat who authored it and then throw him into the sun. Such a veto can not be overturned.

Far as I know, the closest a minority has come to the presidency is Vice President Charles Curtis, to whit:

That’s the closest I know of a minority being to the Oval Office…unless one of Thomas Jefferson’s secret children was in the White House.

Fred Thompson doesn’t look he has exercised for several decades. He couldn’t push a Democrat without severly injuring himself. Pelosi could probably kick Thompson’s ass if she wanted to. It’s irrelevant anyway because Frankenberry isn’t even going to get the nomination and even if he did he couldn’t win. Hillary would crush him.
