Jumping ahead of the crowd, Dennis Kucinich today announced his Vice President. Said Dennis, “I’m not like the other candidates. I have an insight and awareness given to me from years of hard work, education, and alien visitation.” He was met with applause when he introduced his VP, E.T. The Extra Terrestrial.
Many in the crowd were pleasantly surprised. Said one reporter for the New York Times, “Many of us were supportive of the idea of an alien for Vice President. I guess most of us thought that the alien chosen would be illegal. But this is good too.”
Kucinich’s announcement has been well received. He’s gone up in the polls from 1% to 1.00009%.

Tim Russert did the Kucinich Presidential Campaign a great favor in associating Dennis Kucinich with Outer Space. What he proved in asking Dennis whether or not he had seen UFO’s, was calculated and with the specific intent of eliciting the reaction the right wing of the party wants — LET’S NOT TALK ABOUT SERIOUS ISSUES!!! Let’s not be adults and discuss uncomfortable subjects that effect the whole nation. Dennis Kucinich certainly does not mind explaining the event and confirming that he saw what others claim to have seen: UFOs! Given that astronauts and military pilots have seen the same, what is the big deal except an attempt to discredit a serious presidential campaign! But, even if that’s not Mr. Russert’s intent — to be objectively fair, Russert could and should have given equal time to Ms.Clinton about her conversations with Eleanor Roosevelt, who’s been dead for several decades now!
The UFO question was intended for the American people to believe that Dennis Kucinich’s views are from outer space. They are!!! They are in a stratosphere that no one wants to touch! They are the 800 pound gorilla sitting on the podium, begging to be questioned: IMPEACHMENT! By not taking the discussion further, the right wing of the party is given carte blanche to not do what the American people would expect them to do: to open up the investigations to discover how the current President and Vice President have lied and continue to lie and why thousands have died. Perhaps they don’t like to discuss it because it echoes of the impeachment proceedings undertaken by the Republicans to censure Bill Clinton, the leading candidate’s husband. We’ve witnessed that she is unafraid of the issue and can tackle anything dished to her, so the protectionism, if that’s what it is, is unwarranted, sexist, and condescending.
At the debate last night, whenever Dennis Kucinich mentioned impeachment, everyone would freeze. Then, as if he had never said the word, the panelists continued with their questions, speaking as if the word were never uttered. It is they who fear the Unconventional! But it is a disservice to the American people not to put all of the issues out on the table. Dennis Kucinich has seen a UFO, 14% of Americans have, but better yet, he IS the UFO — the Unconventional Force of Opposition to politics as usual. While Dennis Kucinich intimidated Russert with his real opposition to their mainstream, half-Republican, half conservative Democrat ideas — the nation continues to see Dead People coming to their resting place from the Outer Space of Iraq. It is time that we talk about that, Mr. Russert!
